Setting up your community

Setting up a community gives you access to various options, such as modifying the name, description and other parameters, as well as reversing the choices and options made during the pre-configuration phase of creation.

To access your community's settings, select Settings from the collaborative space's action menu (burger menu).

This tab lets you modify the name, description, presentation and image of the community map.

2. Access and registration

This tab lets you define the type of access and registration for your community.

3. Model

This tab allows you to :

  • Type of space: enter the type of community configured on your platform mceclip5 - 2025-06-27 09h44m38s
  • Synchronize with template
    • If you select Yes, synchronization will enable you to align the community with an existing template.
      You can choose which elements should be synchronized: the home page, applications and structure data (type, workflow, groups, etc.)

      Note that synchronized elements cannot be modified while the community is synchronized with the template.

    • If you choose no (default option) : the community will be based on the template structure, but will remain free and customizable.

4. Header

This tab lets you customize the community's interface colors.

  • Condensed mode: reduces the community header.
  • Colors sub-tab (1): changes background color, title color, text color, tab background and opacity.
  • Background Image sub-tab (2): adds a background image to the header and adjusts its positioning.
