Créer un événement
To create a new event, proceed as follows:
Go to the application launcher (1), search for the Events application (2) and click on it to open the JEvent management application.
Click on the Add an event button (3).
Presential events
To create a face-to-face event, select the Presential button.
General information
The first step is to provide general information.
By default, the member listed in the Contact
field is the one who creates the event.
It is also possible to indicate speakers; these will be displayed on the event overview page.
Dates
The second step is to indicate the dates and times of the event.
The ‘full day’ option allows you to reserve an entire day without having to specify a start or end time.
Place
The event details can be specified for each in-person event.
Registration management
In the Registration tab, you can specify the registration terms and conditions.
The organiser can:
Limit the number of participants by activating the Limited number of places
button
Display the advanced options for the event by activating the Manage registrations
button
The Advanced tab
The Advanced tab allows you to:
- Associate the event with a theme to facilitate searching in the event management application
- Restrict the display of the event to a member or group of members
Videoconference events
When creating a remote event, the organiser uses the Videoconference
tab instead of the Place
tab.
To use a videoconferencing service other than the modules offered, enter the target URL in the Attendees' url
field.
Hybrid events
Creating a hybrid event allows you to specify both a PLACE and a VIDEOCONFERENCE.
