Inform your members directly with the Newsletter!

1. Basic concepts

You can communicate en masse to your users via the newsletter application.

This application lets you create newsletters. Each newsletter must be defined according to differentiating criteria, such as general theme, audience or frequency.

These Newsletters will then be composed of Bulletins which will be distributed at your convenience.

2. Create a Newsletter

For your first visit to the application, you are invited to create your first Newsletter.

Once you've defined the general theme, audience and frequency, you can create your first Newsletter.

After choosing a title representative of the subject, and a description (especially important for open-subscription newsletters), you'll need to specify the frequency.

Select the persons authorized to manage the newsletter and create newsletters.

Finally, you will be asked to select the subscription mode for this Newsletter. Will subscriptions be made on a voluntary basis, or will groups be automatically subscribed? Or will you opt for a hybrid mode, with some people subscribing directly, and others at their discretion? The choice is yours!

3. Manage your newsletters

3.1. Manage your newsletters

From this interface, you can consult 5 tabs:

  • Presentation: with the description and list of newsletter managers. This is the equivalent of the view members see when they access the newsletter subscription interface.
  • Newsletters : The list of newsletters already published and their status, the date sent and the open rate for each.
  • Subscribers: To see the list of members subscribed to the newsletter.
  • Newsletter templates: Allows you to set a basic template for each new newsletter, so you don't have to start from scratch every time.
  • Statistics: To find out the number of newsletters sent and the average open rates for your newsletter mailings over a given period.

3.2. Add your newsletter

When creating your newsletter, there are 2 possible outcomes:

  • You arrive on an empty page
  • You are taken to the newsletter template for your newsletter (if defined)

You can compose or modify your newsletter by dragging and dropping pre-defined blocks from the area on the left of the preview interface. You can also change the order of your blocks directly from the preview interface.

The + button in the top left-hand corner allows you to return to the list of blocks at any time.

Each block has a number of parameters enabling you to propose content

Depending on its layout and the number of entries it offers, each block may feature a requisite number of parameter sections. This is where the notion of templates comes into its own, so that you don't have to redo this work for every newsletter!

A "Fill from content..." button lets you automatically pre-fill the title, summary and illustration fields in your block entries, and position the link to this content.

3.3. Block management

The block administration menu allows you to manage the HTML code of the blocks you offer by default in the Newsletter.

There's a simple way to create new templates that take into account your aesthetic preferences. Once you've customized your block to match your graphic style, you can use the ... buttons at the top of the block to add it to the list of available blocks:

This template block will then be proposed with all the pre-configurations you've defined.

3.4. Send a bulletin

From the bulletin interface, you can send yourself a test version, send it directly or schedule it to be sent automatically at a date and time that suits you best.

You can also view the status of your bulletin: draft, scheduled, in progress or sent

Once sent, the "Follow-up" tab displays the statistics relating to your newsletter:
