Set up your articles

Jalios Workplace lets you fine-tune your editorial line. These settings can be global or managed locally by sub-site (or workspace)

For each site, you'll be able to define the graphic style of articles, whether publications are subject to approval and, if so, define each person's role.

Within your application launcher, access the Article Management application

Administration is located in the Settings tab.

1. Layout

In the Layout tab, you can customize the structure of your articles.

  1. You can modify the structure of your platform's default article, that of a sub-site that already has a particular configuration, or define a new one for a particular sub-site.
  2. You'll be able to drag-and-drop each block.
  3. The result will be displayed in real time in the preview.
  4. You can hide a block using the switch.

2. Styles

In the styles tab, you can customize the visual appearance of your articles.

  1. You can modify the style of your platform's default article, that of a sub-site that already has a particular configuration, or define a new one for a particular sub-site.
  2. You can fine-tune the visuals of each block, whether in terms of font, size or color.
  3. The result is displayed in real time in the preview.

3. Rights

The rights tab lets you assign rights to the relevant groups:

  1. Choice of workspace (or sub-site).
  2. Group(s) with the ability to create articles.
  3. Group(s) with extended rights to manage all articles.
  4. Group(s) with the ability to highlight articles in the home carousel or the JNews application.

4. Workflow

It is regularly observed that, in order to extend the population able to publish content as much as possible, content validation is necessary.

  1. This setting is local to the space concerned.
  2. You can enable or disable validation.
  3. If it is enabled, you can define the group(s) with the ability to validate articles.

5. Topics

The Topics tab lets you define the main themes present in your application or in a local JNews portlet.

  1. Choice of sub-site (or workspace)
  2. Target (specific portlet or application)
  3. Classification categories
You will be able to modify the tree structure by right-clicking.
