Generate subtitles for a video
Subtitles can be generated from 2 points of entry:
1/ Via the action button Manage subtitles
/ 
, then by clicking on the "Generate subtitles"
2/ or by clicking on the Enrich
action button, then click on Subtitle
You can then use generative AI to automatically translate subtitles into the languages available on your site.
When subtitle generation is complete, you'll receive a notification
The subtitles are then available in vttformat. They can be downloaded and edited with a simple text editor.
💡 Tip: subtitle generation with generative AI remains imperfect, particularly with technical words, jargon and sometimes certain first names. Proofreading is therefore essential.
