Customize your pages
Your platform pages feature structuring and display elements. These pages, also technically called "Portlets", give you the possibility of structuring and organizing your information in a simple, aesthetic way.
At Jalios, all these elements are called"Portlets".
1. Editorial pages
Some simplified editing modes allow you to modify Portlets displaying elements or content directly, and more advanced editing modes allow you to modify the very structure of your page.
1.1. Simplified editing
Since February 2025, there have been 2 simplified ways to edit a page:
For Jalios Intranet customers, or those who have the functionality active on their Jalios Workplace instance, the edit pencil on the right of the navigation bar, when hovered over, launches simplified editing:
More generally, if you have rights to the page in question, an"Edit portal (simplified)" application should be present:
Once this editing mode has been activated, you can modify Portlets and move them within the existing structure:
To add an additional Portlet, you'll need to click on the plus at the bottom of the Portlet that is supposed to overlay the new one:
If none of the portlets in the list suits your needs, you can create one using the create button:
1.2. Complete modification :
To modify all the elements of your portal page, from Portlets to structure (columns, rows, page display width, etc.), you need to use the JPortal application, available simply via the "Modify portal" application in your application launcher.
2. Modifying my community page
Communities have dedicated interfaces. For the time being, it's only possible to have one page per community, and that's the home page. Simplified editing of the home page is carried out via the "3 dots" menu on the right, which is available to community managers:
If you wish to modify the structure of your home page, you can do so via :
Settings > "Layout" tab > "Modify portal" button
